Retest Policy
  1. You may re-test after 90 days.
  2. Before 90 days you may re-test with counselor approval.  First, consult with a counselor regarding retesting, bring documentation that would support your request for a retest (e.g. high school or college transcripts, other test scores, etc.), then if approved schedule your retest date.
  3. Chemistry test can only be taken once.
Assessment scores are valid two years from your test date.
Remote Testing

Option 1 – Off Campus – Remote Proctoring
Take your test at a local testing center. This will enable you to take your
ACCUPLACER test at a different testing center.

Option 2 Virtual – Remote Proctoring
Have your ACCUPLACER test proctored online from just about anywhere. This
will enable you to take the ACCUPLACER test at any location. You must have an
appropriate picture id and your computer must meet the technical specifications
required for testing.

Other Community College Test Scores

Fullerton College will accept another California Community College’s test scores that are within the last 2 years for placement. Please provide course placement with test scores & placement /transcripts from the other college(s) attended.

Fullerton College does not accept any other test scores toward placement.

Test Proctoring Services

The Assessment Center will proctor exams for Fullerton College students attending other colleges or universities. Please email the Assessment Center at assessment@fullcoll.edu for information and available dates. We offer testing services by any means the institution requests, however it is done primarily by paper, pencil, Scantron (which would need to be scored by your institution) and web based testing.

We do not allow students to download software to our system or to use their own laptops/computers.

We can only proctor for 2-hour sessions and do not proctor exams which have no time limits.

Proctoring only offered on Mondays and Thursdays at 9:30 am by appointment.

College Level Examination Program (CLEP) Tests

NOTE: Fullerton College only accepts College Composition CLEP test and English Composition with Essay CLEP test for credit.

Fullerton College Advanced Placement Policy.

  • Before you take a CLEP exam, check directly with the college or university you plan to attend to make sure that it grants credit for CLEP and review the specifics of its policy.

Fees

Fullerton College is a limited test center, will test only those students admitted to or enrolled at the institution.

There is no proctor fee for students currently attending Fullerton or Cypress College.

All test takers must register and pay their $85 exam fee through the CLEP My Account website and bring their test registration ticket when coming to test.

Identification needed to test:

Valid state or federal picture I.D.

Starting November 17, 2014 all assessment scores will be available through the Counseling Department ONLY.
