Many classes will have waitlists enabled once enrollment capacities are met (example: the class is “full” or “closed”). These waitlists are accessible through myGateway. Please refer to these links for additional information about waitlists:
If the class you are attempting to add is full, consider adding yourself to the waitlist; for other alternatives and recommendations, please read the Waitlist Frequently Asked Questions.
Once you have been placed on a waitlist, you can check your status on the list by logging into myGateway, click on the “Student” tab, then click on the “Check Waitlist Status” hyperlink in the “Registration Tools” section.
IMPORTANT: If you are on a waitlist, it is strongly recommended that you check myGateway daily for your status on the waitlist. As a secondary measure checking myGateway daily is recommended to prevent you from missing a Personal Announcement that a seat has become available for you.
The college is NOT responsible for undelivered email, or incomplete email received by Yahoo email users.
Attention Yahoo Email Users
If your email address on file is from Yahoo, you may not receive message text in the body of the email. We have contacted Yahoo, but they have yet to resolve the issue.
We suggest two alternatives:
- Switch to another email provider for college communication.
- Frequently monitor the Personal Announcements window in myGateway for messages from the college, including registration, and waitlisting.
